Learn: How to manage resource allocation, resolve over-allocations, and optimize resource utilization across multiple projects.
Content: Resource leveling techniques (manual and automatic), understanding and customizing resource calendars, cost rate tables, earned value management for resource costs, and resource pooling across projects.
Mastering Multi-Project and Program Management:
Learn: How to effectively manage interdependencies between projects, create master projects, and report on program-level performance.
Content: Creating and managing master projects and subprojects, linking tasks across projects, cross-project dependencies, critical path analysis across multiple projects, and consolidating project data for program reporting.
Customization, Automation, and Reporting:
Learn: How to customize MS Project to organizational needs, automate repetitive tasks, and generate sophisticated custom reports.
Content: Creating and modifying custom fields, tables, views, and filters; using visual reports and custom report templates; recording and editing simple macros for common tasks; and leveraging VBA for advanced customization and data manipulation (introduction to VBA objects in MS Project).
Integration and Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Concepts:
