Achieving Wonders: Athlete's Recognition & Development for Contribution in Society

CKT Business Consulting is proud to announce its participation in the AWARD project (Achieving Wonders: Athlete's Recognition & Development for Contribution in Society), a transnational initiative co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Sport 2025 programme.

The AWARD project addresses a critical gap in youth sports: the need for holistic development that goes beyond physical training to foster mental resilience, integrity, and social responsibility.

Main Objectives: Empowering the Next Generation of Athletes

The project focuses on creating a "mastery learning climate" where youth athletes can thrive. By integrating psychosocial support with traditional sports training, AWARD aims to:

  • Enhance Mental Well-being: Prioritize athlete mental health and provide early intervention tools for challenges like anxiety and stress.

  • Foster Inclusion: Implement trauma-informed coaching to support athletes from disadvantaged backgrounds and combat exclusion or stigma.

  • Develop Life Skills: Equip athletes with discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills essential for success both on and off the field.

Key Deliverables of the Project

A central deliverable of the project is the AWARD Digital Coaches Hub. This multilingual, open-access platform is designed to serve as a centralized resource for coaches and athlete mentors across Europe. The hub will feature:

  • Five specialized training modules, including "Holistic Coaching Excellence" and "Mentoring Champions".

  • Innovative Virtual Reality (VR)-based training simulations in one of the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity.

  • AI-driven recommendations and an interactive "Digital Tutor" to assist users in navigating the educational content.

The platform will provide material in multiple languages, including English, Romanian, Greek, Italian, and Bosnian. This underlines the commitment to inclusive education.

CKT’s Leadership and Technical Contribution

CKT Business Consulting plays a vital role in the AWARD consortium, leveraging its expertise in vocational training and technical development. CKT is responsible for:

  • Quality Board Oversight: Holds one of two primary seats on the AWARD Project Quality Board, directly supervising the project’s adherence to high-standard benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Advanced PM Tools: Spearheads the implementation of ASANA and digital workflow automation to track and ensure the timely delivery of all project milestones across the international consortium.

  • Learning content: Leads the co-creation learning material of the system’s learning components. This also involves developing the digital 'building blocks' of the AWARDS platform by utilizing AI-driven analytics and LMS design to create a truly responsive and high-impact training environment for European sports professionals. Through its involvement, CKT ensures that the project’s training materials are not only technologically advanced but also pedagogically sound and accessible to a wide European audience.

  • Technical Development: Overseeing the creation and maintenance of the AI-powered Digital Coaches Hub, ensuring it remains cross-platform and user-friendly.

  • Pioneering the AWARD Digital Tutor: Leads the development of a Digital Tutor document, a guide to provide guidance and support as users progress through the project’s multi-faceted curriculum.

European Cooperation & Partnerships

Led by Universitatea Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Iasi (UAIC) in Romania, the consortium brings together six partners from five countries: Romania, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Key partners include world-class organizations such as PAOK FC, ECOS, GDA Sports, and the GENESIS Foundation.
